Action Bronson is a modern-day Renaissance Man. From rapping to wrestling to hosting various food-related television shows, Bronson’s talents, seemingly, know no bounds.
And now we can add shoe designer to the list.
The latest venture for Bronson includes a collaboration with New Balance on their popular 990 model. Dubbed the “Baklava” 990v6 shoe, this collaboration has produced a colorful, comfortable, and unique offering from two giants in their own rights.
The shoe itself is a hodge-podge of materials and colorways that just, somehow, works. The blue oversized sole is counterbalanced with a medley of materials on the upper. From brown suede to lime-green mesh to a hot pink lace, the shoe itself may seem loud, but it’s on-trend and the attention to detail is evident.
The shoe is now on sale, but will continue to be released in limited batches with a global release slated for March 24.
